At last, the heatwave has reached London and this means it’s time to sort out the summer wardrobe. The first thing you should think about is fabric. When it’s hot, the natural fabrics are the best, so linen and cotton are my top choices. Don’t get me wrong I still wear clothes made from other fabrics but these work the best for me.
Linen is made from the Flax plant so it’s a natural fabric and that’s why I love it. It’s breathable, sustainable and great for summer months. I hear you saying that it creases really badly, but that’s linen, it’s natural and no one will judge you if you wear creased linen garment. I fell in love with The White Company Linen Dress and just can’t take it off. The design is simple, yet so stylish. It can be easily styled for a casual day and for an occasion. I wore it with a straw hat and a straw bag for a day out with my boy. Just choose a clutch, evening jewellery, high court shoes and you are sorted for a night out. Honestly, I can’t think of anything better for summer than linen dress.
I am pretty sure that you’ve noticed my boy’s outfit, it’s Ticking Stripe Dungaree Set from The Little White Company. It’s so cute, isn’t it? Someone even told me that my boy looks like Prince George with this set. How sweet!
