We travelled as a family of four (two adults and two children) and had such an enjoyable stay. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had that instant holiday feeling. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere that made it very easy to switch off and enjoy our time together.
Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa is a five-star all inclusive hotel in Alykes, Corfu, and the setting really is one of its biggest highlights. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds and greenery, with lovely sea views and plenty of space to explore.
Beautiful Grounds and a Relaxed Luxury Feel
One of the first things we noticed was just how beautiful the hotel grounds were. Everything felt green, spacious and incredibly well looked after. The gardens give the hotel such a peaceful atmosphere and, despite being a family-friendly resort, we never felt as though we were constantly surrounded by crowds. The hotel itself has a modern, stylish feel without being uncomfortable or overly formal. This is something I really appreciated as a parent. You still get that luxury hotel experience, but you can actually relax with children and enjoy your holiday.
Luxury Sun Loungers and Plenty of Space to Relax
Can we talk about the sun loungers? Because the sun loungers at Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa were definitely a highlight!
There are lots of places to relax around the hotel, with comfortable sun loungers and beautiful cabana-style seating around the pool areas. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and much more luxurious than your average hotel pool. One thing that can completely change a holiday experience is constantly worrying about finding somewhere to sit. During our stay, we loved having so many areas where we could settle down and enjoy the day. Whether we wanted to be close to the pool with the children or find a quieter place to relax, there were plenty of options.
A Private Beach Just Steps Away
Another huge reason to stay at Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa is the hotel’s private beach area. The hotel enjoys a beautiful waterfront location, with a private beach area stretching for around 100 metres. There are gazebos, umbrellas and places to relax by the sea, making it incredibly easy to move between the pool, gardens and beach throughout the day. There is something so special about being able to walk from your hotel straight down to the sea.
Amazing Food
Food is always a huge part of a holiday for us, and the food at Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa was excellent. There was a fantastic selection and plenty of variety, which is particularly important when travelling with children. We always found something everyone wanted to eat, and the quality of the food really impressed us. For parents travelling with children, having good food that keeps everyone happy makes such a difference. There is nothing relaxing about spending every mealtime trying to convince your children to eat.
Is Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa Good for Families?
From our experience travelling as two adults and two children, yes — absolutely.
We found Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa to be a fantastic family hotel in Corfu. There is plenty of space, beautiful swimming pools and a children’s pool, as well as the beach and large grounds. The relaxed atmosphere meant we could enjoy our holiday without feeling as though we had to constantly worry about the children being children. At the same time, the hotel still felt luxurious for us as adults. And I think that balance is incredibly important. Sometimes family hotels can feel completely centred around children, leaving the adults feeling like they need another holiday afterwards! Kerkyra Blue manages to offer a family-friendly experience while still giving parents that sense of luxury and relaxation. For us, it worked really well.
Perfect for Couples and Solo Travellers Too
Although we visited as a family, I wouldn’t describe Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa as only a family hotel. I could easily imagine returning as a couple.
The beautiful gardens, stylish pool areas, spa and private beach create plenty of opportunities to relax. There are quieter areas where you can enjoy the sunshine, read a book or simply sit and admire the views. It would also be a lovely choice for solo travellers looking for a luxury all-inclusive hotel in Corfu. The resort has everything you need in one place, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing holiday at your own pace.

We really enjoyed our family holiday at Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa.
The beautiful grounds, luxury sun loungers, fantastic food and excellent service all made our stay feel special. Add in the private beach and gorgeous Corfu sunshine, and it really is a wonderful place to escape and relax. Travelling as a family of four (two adults and two children) we found the hotel comfortable, welcoming and easy to enjoy.
Whether you are planning a family holiday to Corfu, a romantic couples escape or even a relaxing solo trip, Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa is definitely worth considering.
