I travelled to Thailand twice and during both times I saw both bright and dark sides. There are so many good things about Thailand. I just love stunning and unique nature, cheap prices and smiley people. It’s a perfect holiday destination for both budget and luxury travellers.
But there is another side of this beautiful country. Not that bright. Trash in many beaches and piles of garbage near local houses. No hygiene standards. Food is made in places where you can see passing cockroaches, market food is exposed to sun all day long with flies around. The first moment you are in Thailand you will be caught by scammer. Taxi drivers, tuk tuk drivers, boat renters, ect. A lot of them tries to trick you. Lot’s of homeless dogs with fur diseases. Torture of wild animals and many more bad things.
But personally I just loved Thailand and would come back the third time despite all these bad things. Many of them are getting better slowly. People are gathering to clean beaches. I know a couple who is treating the dogs and taking care of them. And you can skip scammers just by reading some information before you travel.
I just feel like after you try Thailand once you just can’t stop.
On my trips I used:
Hotels: Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com
Airlines: Qatar
Travel Tips: Tripadvisor
